Execute Default Argument in PHP

Execute default argument in php. A simple Php program to execute the default argument function. Constant expressions must be used as default arguments. Variables or function calls aren’t allowed. As default parameters, PHP allows you to use a scalar value, an array, or null.

Because they don’t need to be given to the method, these default values are also known as optional arguments. I’ve recently noticed this type of code being used wrongly quite a bit, so I thought I’d write a post about it.

<?php declare(strict_types=1);?>
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
<?php
function setHeight(int $minheight = 10)
{
echo "The height is $minheight <br>";
}
setHeight(100);
setHeight();
setHeight(10);
setHeight(5);
?>
</body>
</html>

Output:

The height is 100
The height is 10
The height is 10
The height is 5

Break Statement to Execute Default Argument in PHP

The for, while, do-while, switch, and for-each loops are all broken by the PHP break statement. When you use break inside an inner loop, it just stops the inner loop from running. The break keyword terminates the loop or switch structure’s execution instantly.

Echo in PHP

The echo command in PHP can be used to output a string, several lines of text, escaping characters, variables, arrays, and more. echo is a statement that displays the output of a command. echo() and echo can be used with or without parentheses. echo does not produce a result.

$ Symbol in PHP

In PHP, the $ operator is used to declare variables. A variable in PHP begins with the $ sign and is followed by the variable’s name. $ symbol are used to execute the program to complete execute default argument in php.
